Initial Consultation
Meet with our builder, Adam, to discuss your preliminary design and/or plans and individual requirements, as well as discussing your budget. Please bring: drafted plans (if applicable) and lands title (to view encumbrances, covenants and easements).
Estimate and Quoting
AK Constructions will complete an estimate that reflects your budget and requests. Once you are satisfied with this estimate, then we will proceed with a quotation.
Contract, Specifications and Selection Process
Once the quotation has been adjusted to your satisfaction, and we receive your confirmation to build, a New South Wales HIA Standard Contract will be completed. Selection sheets will be provided to you throughout the building process, for you to make your selection choices.
AK Constructions is available to assist you during this process, we can show you options, discuss possibilities, and offer suggestions or solutions so you can achieve the unique look that you are seeking for your home.
Building Approvals
AK Constructions then engages the certifier to lodge all necessary construction certificates and approvals with Mid-Western Regional Council or private certifier.
Construction of Your Home
Once all approvals from Council are received, construction will start. AK Constructions will be in frequent contact with you throughout the construction of your home. Throughout the process we will advise you when we will require each selection to be finalised, to ensure the building process is as smooth as possible. During construction, AK Constructions will always be happy to meet with you in our office or on site to discuss with you any selections or concerns you may have.
A certifier will conduct all parts of certification including at the footing, slab, plumbing, water proofing, frame and final stages of construction.
Move In
When the construction of your home is completed, AK Constructions will arrange handover of your keys to you and provide you with the ‘Maintenance Manual’ to your new quality AK Constructions home.
